Toothpaste:
1.It can remove scratches from CDs. Apply a dab to a soft cloth and run the scratched area gently. This one only works with plain white toothpaste - gels won't do the trick.
2.A little toothpaste applied to an insect bite can stop the sting and ease the itching.
3.Plain white toothpaste is a surprisingly effective spackle replacement. If you've hung up so much stuff that you could play connect the dots with the nail holes in your walls, toothpaste is a pretty serviceable filler. If the hole is large, try adding some bits of tissue. When dry it can be smoothed and painted over.
4.It will remove water rings from furniture. Use a soft cloth to gently rub plain white toothpaste over the ring and it will gradually darken and disappear. This is another one for paste only; gels won't do the job.
5.The plain white non-gel version is just abrasive enough to clean the bottom of an iron without damaging the surface. If you have a really stubborn coat of baked-on spray starch or the remains of a scorch, a soft toothbrush will help.

Peroxide
1. A daily rinse with a capful or so of peroxide can keep canker sores at bay. If you have a gum infection rinsing with peroxide can help.
2. Mixed with baking soda to form a paste it's an effective and affordable (though not very tasty) tooth whitener.
3. It can sanitize food preparation surfaces. Pour peroxide over cutting boards to kill salmonella.
4. It will remove chemical spray residue from fresh fruit and vegetables.

Shampoo
1. A drop or two can provide just enough lubrication to make a stuck zipper let go, or an uncooperative one run smoothly.
2. Rubbing a few drops of shampoo over an adhesive bandage will make the adhesive let go and the bandage will come off painlessly.
3. Revitalize your feet with an overnight treatment. Last thing at night, coat your feet lightly with shampoo and go to bed with socks on. The next morning your feet will be smooth and soft.
4. Refresh worn leather items by rubbing them gently with a dab of shampoo on a soft cloth. It will noticeably diminish dryness and cracking.
